FPM 331 : Progressive Concepts in Program Management 4 Days (32 Hrs.)

Designed specifically for professionals earning their Senior/Expert level FAC-P/PM certifications, this course prepares program and project managers to lead and manage major Federal investments. From the initial development of requirements, through systems engineering and total life cycle planning, this course teaches the advanced project and risk management techniques critical to successful management of large, high-risk Federal investments.  FPM 331 is fully FAI-verified as meeting all OFPP / FAI v2.1 Performance Outcomes for the following training Competencies: "Requirements Development / Management Processes," "Systems Engineering," "Test & Evaluation," and "Life Cycle Logistics.

FPM 332 : Progressive Contracting Strategies for Programs 3 Days (24 Hrs.)

Designed specifically for experienced professionals earning their Senior/Expert level FAC-P/PM certifications, this course further develops and refines students’ advanced skills to help them more effectively manage their Federal contracts and acquisitions.  FPM 332 is fully FAI-verified as meeting all OFPP / FAI v2.1 Performance Outcomes for the "Contracting" Competency.

FPM 333 : Progressive Business, Cost & Financial Management 3 Days (24 Hrs.)

Designed for experienced professionals earning their Senior/Expert level FAC-P/PM certifications, this course further develops and refines students’ advanced skills to help them more effectively estimate, analyze, and manage the finances of a large-investment, high-risk acquisition.  FPM 333 is fully FAI-verified as meeting all OFPP/FAI v2.1 Performance Outcomes for the "Business, Cost Estimating, and Financial Management" training Competency.

FPM 334 : Progressive Leadership in Program Management 2 Days (16 Hrs.)

Designed specifically for experienced professionals earning their Senior/Expert level FAC-P/PM certifications, this course provides a framework for the participants to respond to the leadership challenges facing them and their organizations in new, more innovative, and more productive ways.  FPM 334 is fully FAI-verified as meeting all OFPP / FAI v2.1 Performance Outcomes for the "Leadership / Professional" training Competency.

Series Completion

Completing all 4 Senior-level courses fully meets all 7 OFPP/FAI Senior-level FAC-P/PM training competency requirements.

Program Details

The FAC Academy’s Senior Level FAC-P/PM series is offered in an integrated 12-day (96 hour) format, and this 4-course curriculum can be taught either as a series or as individual course offerings. This series is fully FAI-verified, and has receivedFAI’s highest rating of 5 out of 5.

The primary emphasis of the Senior Level courses is on student involvement in practical, organizationally relevant scenarios through which they can experiment with, share, and demonstrate mastery of the techniques and concepts needed in the real world. Using the latest organizational assessment tools, students create and present Action Plans to improve the operational effectiveness of the participant’s agency or division.

The goal of the Senior Level courses, as a result of the classroom discussions, activities, and the organizational assessment tools, is to prepare the participants to make an immediate, positive impact on their organizations upon their return to work.
